Great food! The potato bacon and cheese soup is fabulous! Salads are good. Shrimp is great! Ate here for lunch for our anniversary on the way to Falling Waters Park. Really good service. Love the ladies bathroom :-)

We had a great lunch at Up the Creek. We were going tubing on the Chipola River and wanted to give it a try. The burgers were great as were the fish and shrimp tacos! Their cheese grits and grouper sandwich are so yummy. Onion rings are sweet and crispy. We will definitely be back. Savannah is an awesome server!

Don't waste your money on the 12oz ribeye. Its maybe 8 oz at best. No seasoning. Side mash potatoes with gravy was literally a measured level icecream scoop with a teaspoon of gravy running down one side not even enough to hit the plate. Cheap dinner roll that was microwaved to crouton crunch level. Waitress didn't listen to my friend asking for ketchup for her fries and walked away mid sentence when she tried to ask for it a second time during which she left our check on the table never to return. We were the only people in the restaurant at the time. We have both worked in restaurants, my friend in a highend Steakhouse so we are very aware of how the steak should have looked. This waitress should know that because we sympathize with staff in the industry, we very often tip 100%. I have never seen my friend leave a 20% tip in 26 years until today.

What a great place to eat, very good food great people there. So easy to get in and out of it. Thank you all there for the great service, God bless you all.

Was coming home from visiting the Marianna Caverns State Park and decided to eat at a local place. Ordered the Spicy Shrimp appetizer and it was awesome. Made for a nice percussor for the meals to come. My wife ordered the grilled chicken sandwich with onion rings and I got the grilled grouper sandwich with fries. Neither of us could completely eat all the food, but badly wanted to considering how tasty it was. Everything was very good and the prices were not bad at all. If I'm passing through Marianna again I will definitely stop there again.

New owner is very nice but the food is terrible. Our sweet potatoes fries were floppy like they had been microwaved. Kids chicken tenders were the size of baby nuggets. And the mild wings we ordered came as buffalo. Total was $65 to feed a family of 4 (no drinks or dessert). Would not recommend.

We had summer. She was AMAZING! On par with everything from the very beginning. Couldnt ask for better service. She certainly made our visit worth it! Will absolutely be back just because of her!

Nice local restaurant. Clean & decorated nicely. Went at noon on a Saturday, didn't get busy until after we arrived. Food was made fast and accurate. I had the hot ham and cheese, my wife had the club. We both had side salads. The only drawback was that my wife's salad was not made as well as mine. Hers was missing the strawberry and croutons. The service was great, prices not bad. Solid 4/5.

Owner verbally abuses customers who do not enjoy eating grey ribeyes. If grey meat, and verbal abuse is your thing, then this is the place for you!

Service is slow and food was not worth the money. No the burgers is not great it's a frozen patty.

Not sure what happened, but the menu selection has gone down as has the food quality. Fries and onion rings were good, but that's about it for food. Service was pleasant.

We had take out from Up The Creek a couple weeks ago and it was fantastic!!! The best cole slaw and cheese grits I have ever had!! Everything was delicious!! The portions are large, you for sure have plenty!! The reason I remembered to write the review is, we are hoping to return for some more tonight!!We did go tonight for catfish fillets take out. I want to tell you all that was honestly the best catfish fillets I have ever had!! They were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, salted just right, and two of the largest fillets I have seen!!! The only negative thing I have to say is the cole slaw was in a much smaller container than the last time we ate from there. It is so delicious, I was looking forward to the larger container. I will buy an extra next time if they are still in the smaller container!! Thanks for a wonderful meal again Mr. and Mrs. Morse!!!

Great food! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The restaurant was very clean. The campground was very nice. I will be definitely be back. The food tasted fantastic!

Over priced food that was soggy. Fries were too salty and limp. They had been soaking in salt water for days!! Steak was not seasoned right either. Took longer to get the salad then the steak and sandwich!! Will NEVER eat there again. Would give negative stars if I could

Best place to stay in town! Evacuating from hurricane Matthew I stayed one night at the Marianna Inn. It was ok but they were filled up the next night so I called arrowhead and booked a cabin. Pros: beautiful location. View of lake from front door. Clean. Friendly staff. Fishing. Boat rental. Charcoal grill and fire pit. Toilet, sink, full size fridge, microwave in cabin. Porch. Picnic table. Cold AC. World class Hiking in area(conservation area just west of town) 4 miles of trail along the creek. I could go on and on. ONLY $50!!!!!Cons: no shower in cabin(it's a campground what did you expect!) there are showers available at campground. Porch needs adirondack or rocking chair some highway noise(not as bad as the hotel)Seriously why would you want to stay somewhere else? I'd come back here on vacation.

The owner verbally assaulted me because my husband wouldn't eat the "ribeye" he ordered. It was paper thin and grey. I'm at loss of words. The cheese sticks were ice cold. The catfish was good and we were going to order dessert until the owner literally lost her mind. I was so respectful. I'm at a loss of words. I've never been treated like this in my life. The kicker is they have all this Christian decor but they are literally the opposite.

All the way around, an INCREDIBLE experience! Great atmosphere and decor, the food was of good portion and very tasty, but the best, by far, were the owners and staff. It was my son's 10th birthday, we stopped because we were hungry, it was close, and another hotel patron suggested it. WOW! They treated him like a king! If you like good local fare and to feel like your business is appreciated, do yourself a favor and stop in for an exceptional experience!

Great food if you knew the cook well or waittess. If getting fried green tomatoes make sure you say crispy, because ours came back soggy. There are now new owners so I'm hoping everything gets going better. Hurricane did come through there so I don't know when it will reopen. All in all it's great place.

I was there opening week,Staff tried very hard to get everything right.. Food a little slow one plate cold because of waiting for the second meal.Few week's later stopped for business lunch staff staff and kitchen both learning,food good will recommend.

Fast service good food

Better folks running a campground you won't find! Clean facilities, nice well cared for pool, the attached restaurant has great food.Only downside was the park cable was out. But cable is not why I camp.

The food was good, the waitress was nice, and it had a very laid back feel. The food took a little bit but that's because it's all made to order so you know it's fresh. We had a great overall experience and plan to visit again when we're in the area.

We have eaten there several times and everything we’ve tried has been delicious. Absolutely the best club sandwich and fries I’ve ever eaten. The hamburger and fries are the real deal. I highly recommend Up the Creek Cafe.
